Instructions

FIRST-TIME FREELANCER — DATA RESEARCH INSTRUCTIONS

The task is to research the Property Management Company assigned to you , using the data provided to you and enter accurate, publicly available business information into the provided form.

IMPORTANT: FOLLOW THIS ORDER

For every company, research in this order:

1. BBB → 2. Google → 3. Company Website → 4. LinkedIn → 5. Facebook → 6. License Search

Do not stop after finding basic information. Check each required source.

STEP 1 — START WITH BBB

BBB is our PRIMARY SOURCE. Always start here.

Find the Property Management Company assigned to you and open its BBB Business Profile.

Collect every piece of information available.

Look for:

  • URL Source — copy the URL of the company's BBB page

  • Company Email Address

  • Fax Number

  • Company Phone Number

  • Business Profile

  • Company Name

  • License Number

  • Company Address

  • City

  • State

  • ZIP Code

  • Contact Person

  • Contact Type

  • Title

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Designation

Do not leave information behind if it is available on BBB.

BBB is the starting point for the company. The remaining steps are used to find missing information and additional information.

STEP 2 — SEARCH THE COMPANY ON GOOGLE

https://www.google.com

Search using:

Company Name + City + State

Example:

ABC Property Management Atlanta Georgia

Your goal is to find:

  • The correct company

  • Official Company Website

  • Google Business information

  • Contact information

  • Contact Person

  • LinkedIn Page

  • Facebook Page

  • Other information missing from BBB

Google Search URL

After searching for the company, copy the Google Search Results URL and enter it under:

Google Search URL

Do not enter only google.com.

STEP 3 — OPEN THE OFFICIAL COMPANY WEBSITE

Open the company's official website that you found through BBB or Google.

Do not simply copy the website URL and leave.

Check these pages when available:

  • Home

  • About Us

  • Contact Us

  • Our Team

  • Meet the Team

  • Leadership

  • Management

  • Staff

Collect:

  • Company Website

  • Email Address on Site

  • URL for Contact Form

  • Phone # on Website

Also look carefully for a Contact Person.

Priority should normally be:

Owner / Founder → President / CEO → Director → Operations Manager → Property Manager

If available, also collect the person's:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Designation

  • Direct Email

  • Direct Phone Number

Contact Form

If the website has a contact form, open the page containing the form and copy that exact page URL.

Example:

abcproperty.com/contact

Do not enter the homepage as the Contact Form URL unless the actual contact form is located on the homepage.

STEP 4 — CHECK LINKEDIN

Open LinkedIn

Search for the company using:

Company Name + City/State

Make sure you select the correct company.

LinkedIn company pages can display information such as company size, locations and follower information. citeturn0search7turn0search10

Collect:

  • LinkedIn Page URL

  • Company Size / Employee Range

  • Number of LinkedIn Followers

Example:

Company Size: 11–50 employees

LinkedIn Followers: 1,427

Then look for the Contact Person

Use LinkedIn to help identify or verify people working at the company.

Look for:

Owner / FounderPresident / CEODirectorOperations ManagerProperty Manager

LinkedIn can be useful for identifying employees associated with an organization. citeturn0search13

If you find the correct Contact Person, enter their:

  • Title

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Designation

Do not enter an employee's personal LinkedIn profile into the "LinkedIn Page URL" field.

That field is for the Company LinkedIn Page only.

STEP 5 — CHECK FACEBOOK

Open Facebook

Search:

Company Name + City + State

Make sure you have found the correct company's Facebook Business Page.

Check the website, location, phone number and company information to confirm it is the same business.

Collect:

  • Facebook Page URL

  • Number of Followers

  • WhatsApp Number, if connected

Also check whether Facebook provides any missing:

  • Email

  • Phone

  • Website

  • Address

Important

Do not copy the same email or phone number into several fields just because Facebook also displays it.

The same information does not earn payment multiple times.

STEP 6 — SEARCH FOR THE LICENSE NUMBER

If the License Number is already shown on BBB, record it.

If it is not available, search for the company or Contact Person through the appropriate official state licensing authority.

Start with Google:

Open Google Search

Search:

[State] real estate license lookup

Example:

Florida real estate license lookup

Then use the official state government/licensing website from the search results.

You may search using:

  • Company Name

  • First Name + Last Name

  • City

  • State

IMPORTANT

Only enter the correct applicable License Number.

Do not substitute a:

  • BBB ID

  • EIN

  • Secretary of State filing number

  • MLS number

  • Realtor membership number

  • ZIP Code

  • Phone number

for a License Number.

If you cannot verify the correct License Number, leave the field blank.

STEP 7 — CHECK YOUR EMAILS CAREFULLY

There are three different email fields.

Company Email Address

General company email.

Example:

info@abcproperty.com

Contact Email ID

The direct email belonging to your named Contact Person.

Example:

Contact: John Smith — President

Contact Email: john.smith@abcproperty.com

Email Address on Site

An additional email address found on the official company website.

DO NOT REPEAT THE SAME EMAIL

For example:

Company Email: info@abc.com

Contact Email: info@abc.com

Email on Site: info@abc.com

Incorrect.

That is one email copied three times.

To receive payment for three email fields, you must have three different valid email addresses that correctly belong in those fields.

Never guess an email address.

Email addresses may be tested for deliverability.

Incorrect or undeliverable email = ₹0.00 for that field.

STEP 8 — CHECK YOUR PHONE NUMBERS

The same rule applies to telephone numbers.

Company Phone Number

Main company telephone number.

Contact Phone Number

A direct number belonging specifically to the named Contact Person.

Phone # on Website

An additional telephone number displayed on the official website.

WhatsApp Number

Only enter this if the number is specifically shown as available through WhatsApp.

Do not copy the same company telephone number into every phone field to increase your payment.

STEP 9 — USE NOTES WHEN NECESSARY

Use the Notes field only when there is something important that cannot be properly explained in another field.

Examples:

Company has two office locations; submitted address is the headquarters.

License found under company owner rather than company name.

Company website lists two owners.

Keep Notes short and factual.

Do not use Notes to guess or provide opinions about the company.

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT — FINAL CHECK

Before clicking Submit, confirm:

  • Company matches the BBB company assigned to you.

  • Company Name is correct.

  • City and State are correct.

  • Website belongs to the correct company.

  • Contact Person actually works with the company.

  • Contact Email belongs to the named Contact Person.

  • Email addresses have not been duplicated.

  • Phone numbers have not been duplicated simply to fill fields.

  • License Number is the correct type of license.

  • LinkedIn page belongs to the correct company.

  • Facebook page belongs to the correct company.

  • Employee range has not been guessed.

  • Follower numbers are entered correctly.

  • Information has not been fabricated.

  • Information is entered in the correct fields.

REMEMBER

Do not guess. Do not invent. Do not copy the same information into multiple fields.

If optional information genuinely cannot be found:

Leave the field blank.

You are paid for accurate, valid and useful information — not for simply filling every field.

Instructions

DATA COLLECTION INSTRUCTIONS

Please read these instructions carefully before submitting any data.

The Most Important Rule

You are paid for correct, valid and unique information — not simply for filling a field.

Incorrect, duplicate, fabricated, unverifiable, or wrongly entered information will receive ₹0 for that field.

Never guess. If you cannot find information, leave the field blank.

1. GENERAL RULES

DO

  • Enter information exactly as shown on the source.

  • Verify that the information belongs to the correct company.

  • Use current and publicly available business information.

  • Enter information in the correct field.

  • Check that you have selected the correct company, especially when companies have similar names.

  • Leave optional fields blank if you genuinely cannot find the information.

DON'T

  • Do not guess.

  • Do not invent information.

  • Do not enter information belonging to another company.

  • Do not enter N/A, Not Found, Nil, Unknown, -, etc. just to fill a field.

  • Do not copy the same information into multiple fields to increase your payment.

  • Do not submit the same company multiple times using different spellings or formatting.

2. EMAIL ADDRESSES

There are 3 separate email fields:

Company Email Address

Enter the company's general business email.

Examples:

info@abcproperty.com. office@abcproperty.com. contact@abcproperty.com

Contact Email ID

This must be the direct email address of the Contact Person you have entered.

Example:

Contact Person: John SmithContact Email: john.smith@abcproperty.com

The Contact Email must belong to that person.

Generic emails such as:

info@ office@ contact@ support@ leasing@

do not qualify as a Contact Email ID.

Email Address on Site

Enter an additional email address displayed on the company's official website.

IMPORTANT

You cannot copy the same email into multiple email fields and receive payment for each one.

For example:

Company Email: info@abc.com Contact Email: info@abc.com Email on Site: info@abc.com

❌ This is one email, not three.

To receive value for all three fields, they must contain three different valid email addresses.

EMAILS WILL BE TESTED

Email addresses may be tested for deliverability.

An email receives ₹0 if it is:

  • Incorrect

  • Misspelled

  • Invalid

  • Undeliverable

  • Fabricated

  • Duplicate

  • Entered in the wrong field

  • Assigned to the wrong Contact Person

Never guess an email address.

3. PHONE NUMBERS

There are different phone fields for different purposes.

Company Phone Number

The main telephone number of the company.

Contact Phone Number

A direct phone number belonging to the Contact Person.

This could be their direct office number, extension, or publicly listed business/mobile number.

Phone # on Website

An additional telephone number displayed on the company's official website.

WhatsApp Number

Only enter a number if it is specifically shown as being available through WhatsApp.

IMPORTANT

Do not copy the same telephone number into multiple fields just to earn additional payment.

Example:

Company Phone: 404-555-1234 Contact Phone: 404-555-1234 Website Phone: 404-555-1234

❌ This does not become three different phone numbers.

A Contact Phone Number must actually be associated with the named Contact Person to receive the Contact Phone value.

4. CONTACT PERSON

The Contact Person must be a real, identifiable person who works with the company.

Where possible, prioritize:

Owner / Founder → President / CEO → Director → Operations Manager → Property Manager

Enter the person's:

  • Title

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Designation

  • Contact Email

  • Contact Phone, if available

DON'T

Do not enter:

First Name: PropertyLast Name: Manager

or:

First Name: LeasingLast Name: Office

The Contact Person must be an actual person whose association with the company can be verified.

5. CONTACT INFORMATION MUST BELONG TO THE SAME PERSON

All Contact Person information must match.

Example:

First Name: JohnLast Name: SmithDesignation: Owner

The Contact Email and Contact Phone must belong to John Smith.

If you submit another person's email or telephone number under John Smith's name, the information will be considered incorrect.

6. LICENSE NUMBER

License Number is a high-value field and must be accurate.

DO

  • Enter the actual applicable professional/business license number.

  • Make sure the license belongs to the correct company or person.

  • Copy the number exactly.

  • Use an official licensing/regulatory source whenever available.

DON'T SUBSTITUTE

Do not enter a:

  • BBB ID

  • EIN

  • Google Business ID

  • Secretary of State filing number

  • MLS number

  • ZIP Code

  • Phone number

  • Realtor membership number

as a License Number.

Incorrect license number = ₹0.

7. COMPANY ADDRESS

Enter the company's actual street address.

Example:

123 Main Street, Suite 400

Do not enter only:

Atlanta, GA

as the Company Address.

City, State and ZIP Code have their own separate fields.

8. COMPANY WEBSITE

Enter the company's official website.

Do not use a:

  • Facebook page

  • LinkedIn page

  • BBB page

  • Yelp page

  • Zillow page

  • Google Maps listing

  • Business directory

as the Company Website.

If you cannot find an official website, leave the field blank.

9. GOOGLE SEARCH URL

Enter the Google Search URL used to locate/research the company.

Do not simply enter the Google homepage.

10. URL SOURCE

The URL Source should show where you obtained or verified the information.

Do not simply enter a search engine homepage.

The source must relate to the company you are submitting.

11. CONTACT FORM

The URL for Contact Form must lead to an actual contact form or contact page where someone can contact the company.

Example:

company.com/contact

Do not simply enter the company's homepage unless the contact form is actually located on the homepage.

12. LINKEDIN

The LinkedIn Page URL must be the company's official LinkedIn page.

Do not enter:

  • An employee's LinkedIn profile

  • LinkedIn search results

  • A LinkedIn job posting

  • A LinkedIn post

  • Another company with a similar name

Always verify that the LinkedIn page belongs to the correct company.

13. COMPANY SIZE

Enter the Company Size / Employee Range shown by LinkedIn or another approved source.

Example:

11–50 employees

Do not estimate or guess the number of employees.

If you cannot verify it, leave it blank.

14. LINKEDIN FOLLOWERS

Enter the number of followers shown on the company's LinkedIn page.

Do not confuse:

Followers ≠ Employees ≠ Connections ≠ Job Openings

Enter the number shown by LinkedIn.

15. FACEBOOK

The Facebook Page URL must belong to the correct company.

Check the company name, location, website, phone number or other available information to make sure you have the correct business.

Enter the Number of Followers shown for that Facebook page.

Do not use follower information belonging to another company with a similar name.

16. DUPLICATE COMPANIES

Do not intentionally submit a company that has already been submitted.

Changing the formatting does not make it a new company.

For example:

ABC Property Management LLC

and

ABC Property Management, L.L.C.

may be the same company.

However, companies with the same name in different locations are not automatically duplicates.

We use information such as:

  • Company Website

  • Email

  • Phone Number

  • Address

  • LinkedIn Page

to identify duplicate companies.

17. DUPLICATE INFORMATION

Changing capitalization or formatting does not make information unique.

For example:

JOHN@ABC.COM

and

john@abc.com

are the same email address.

Similarly:

(404) 555-1234

and

404-555-1234

are the same phone number.

Duplicate information does not receive additional value.

18. NEVER GUESS

This rule applies to every field.

If you cannot find something:

Leave it blank.

Do not guess an:

  • Email

  • Phone number

  • Name

  • Designation

  • License number

  • Employee count

  • Address

  • Social media page

  • Follower count

  • Website

A blank optional field is better than incorrect information.

PAYMENT & QUALITY RULE

Entering information into a field does not automatically earn the amount assigned to that field.

The information must be:

✓ Correct✓ Verifiable✓ Relevant✓ Entered in the correct field✓ Unique where required

Incorrect, duplicate, fabricated, or unverifiable information receives ₹0 for that field.

Repeated submission of false, fabricated or deliberately misleading information may result in the entire submission being rejected.

REMEMBER

Accuracy is more important than filling every field.

Find it → Verify it → Enter it correctly → Submit it.

MAXIMUM PAYMENT PER ENTRY

₹5.15

IMPORTANT PAYMENT RULES

1. You are paid only for valid information.

Simply entering something into a field does not automatically qualify for payment.

2. Incorrect information = ₹0 for that field.

If information is incorrect, fabricated, guessed, unverifiable, or entered in the wrong field, the value of that field becomes ₹0.00.

3. Duplicate information is not paid twice.

For example, if the same email address is entered under:

  • Company Email Address

  • Contact Email ID

  • Email Address on Site

you will not receive payment for all three fields.

Each email must be different and correctly classified to receive its individual value.

4. Contact Email ID — ₹0.75

The Contact Email ID must:

  • Belong to the named Contact Person.

  • Be different from the Company Email Address.

  • Not be a generic email such as info@, office@, support@, contact@, etc.

  • Be a valid email address.

  • Pass our email-deliverability check.

Invalid or undeliverable Contact Email = ₹0.00.

5. Contact Phone Number — ₹0.45

The Contact Phone Number must be associated specifically with the named Contact Person.

Copying the Company's main phone number into the Contact Phone field does not automatically qualify for ₹0.45.

6. License Number — ₹0.75

The License Number must be the correct applicable license belonging to the company or contact.

An incorrect number or unrelated registration/identification number receives ₹0.00.

7. Repeated phone numbers are not paid multiple times.

The same phone number cannot simply be copied into Company Phone, Contact Phone, Website Phone and WhatsApp fields to increase payment.

8. Existing duplicates do not qualify as new data.

Information that has already been accepted into our database may not qualify for payment again.

9. If you cannot find information, leave the field blank.

Never guess or fabricate information just to increase the value of an entry.

HOW YOUR PAYMENT IS CALCULATED

Your payment is calculated from the approved fields, not simply the number of fields you complete.

For example:

Maximum Available: ₹5.15

If your submission contains ₹4.65 worth of valid and approved information:

Your Payment = ₹4.65

If ₹0.50 worth of information is found to be incorrect:

Approved Payment = ₹4.15

Maximum Payment

A complete entry containing all valid, unique, correctly classified and verified information earns ₹5.15.

Accuracy earns payment. Filling fields does not.

Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to the Data Entry Operations Team.

This comprehensive guide covers essential rules, data formatting requirements, quality control standards, and payment policies to ensure a

smooth workflow.

Project Scope & Target Selection

  • What business categories are eligible for entry? You are strictly gathering data for Property Management companies. Do not submit records for general real estate agencies, apartment complexes, commercial leasing brokers, or industrial property management. Those belong to distinct projects and will be rejected.

  • What if the assigned city has fewer than 200 eligible companies? Complete all valid, available records in that assigned territory. Once finished, inform your project manager; a new city will be assigned to help you reach your billing threshold.

  • How do I handle lists on directory sites like BBB without repeating companies? Always configure your directory search filters strictly as shown in the training video to ensure proper categorization. The web portal checks BBB profile URLs in real time. If a URL has already been entered by you or another freelancer, the system blocks it immediately.

Mandatory Fields & Entry Rules

  • Are blank fields allowed when data is missing? Optional fields with no available data (such as direct WhatsApp numbers or license IDs) must be left blank. Never guess, invent, or use placeholder text. Inaccurate entries fail quality audits and invalidate the entire record.

  • Is an email address mandatory for submission? Yes. Every record requires at least one valid, verified email address. If no legitimate email exists for the business or contact person, do not submit the record.

  • How must direct contact details be paired? A contact person's name must match their direct email and phone number. Entering generic inbox addresses under personal names (e.g., pairing media@ or info@ with a specific individual like George Tietjen) is strictly invalid.

  • What types of email addresses are prohibited?

    • Third-party platform service emails (e.g., notice@MLSGrid.com).

    • Mismatched business domains (e.g., submitting a Gmail address for an unrelated construction firm under a separate company's profile).

    • Generic press or system auto-responder addresses listed as primary decision-maker emails.

Data Formatting Guidelines

  • How should phone numbers be formatted? Submit plain numerical digits and standard area codes only. Strip all browser hyperlink prefixes and code snippets.

    • Incorrect: tel:(425) 209-0252, tel:+1-808-821-2122

    • Correct: (425) 209-0252, 425-209-0252, or +1 425 209 0252

  • Can an entry be edited after clicking submit? No. The submission portal does not support post-submission editing. If you realize an entry contains formatting or category errors, do not create a duplicate entry. Flag it to your manager; invalid entries will be purged during verification before payouts are calculated.

Reviews, Deadlines & Daily Pace

  • What is the expected daily output? Aim for 20 to 30 valid entries per day. While this is an ongoing project with new cities and directories assigned as you finish, maintaining this daily pace keeps your account active.

  • How long does the initial 10-entry quality audit take? Audits take 24 to 48 hours on business days. Submissions sent on Saturday or Sunday are reviewed on Monday. You must wait for feedback on your first 10 entries before proceeding with bulk submissions.

Verification, Payment & Billing Cycles

  • How is the per-entry rate calculated? The maximum rate is ₹5.15 per entry, calculated field-by-field based on accuracy and completeness. Refer to the Pricing button on your dashboard for the detailed field breakdown. Always plan your earnings around the Estimated Value, as unverified, empty, or duplicate fields reduce the payout.

  • What is the minimum payout threshold?

    • Entry Minimum: A minimum of 200 verified entries is required for your initial payout cycle.

    • Subsequent Cycles: Following the first payout, batches are processed in increments of 100 entries.

    • Rounding Rule: Payout disbursements are issued in multiples of ₹500 (e.g., ₹1,000, ₹1,500, ₹2,000). Submissions below the threshold (such as 80 entries totaling ₹400) roll over to the next cycle until the minimum threshold is met.

  • What causes account suspension? Repeatedly submitting fabricated contact information, invalid third-party emails, or uncleaned scrapings will lead to immediate contract termination and forfeiture of unpaid entries. Every deduction is itemized in your cycle verification report.
